FITNESS CLASSES

There is something for everyone here!  Whether you are wanting to have a gentle workout to build strength, work on your balance and improve flexibility or your buzz is to sweat it out and feel some burn, there is something for you.  My classes are casual, light-hearted and a judgement-free zone so you will feel comfortable being yourself.

Monday & Thursday 5.40pm – 6.40pm

TOTAL BODY TONE / YOGA FUSION – These classes are slower paced and low impact with emphasis on toning the entire body, focusing on engaging our muscles with correct technique for best results.  We incorporate a mix of Yoga, Pilates, Kick, Strong and Body Weight Exercises, also using 1kg hand weights and resistance bands to get a good overall workout. Held at the Inglewood Town Hall, Cutfield Street.

Wednesday & Friday 9.00am – 10.00am

CARDIO TONE – This class can be done fast or slow, I encourage you to work at your own pace.  If you want to sweat it out this class will provide that.  We will also work our butt, thighs and core to tone and strengthen. Held at the Lodge, 19 Mahoe Street, Inglewood.

Wednesday 10.00am – 11.00am

STRENGTH & BALANCE – This class is aimed at the over 50’s or those that are new to exercise or nervous about getting back into it.  We do slow, controlled and low impact exercises to improve strength, balance and flexibility to avoid injuries and for a better quality of life.  Exercises can be done using a chair for assistance. Held at the Lodge, 19 Mahoe Street, Inglewood.

10 Week Block of one class per week = $80

10 Week Block of two classes per week = $150

Wednesday 11.00am – 11.40am (from 8th August 2018)

MOVE & GROOVE KIDS CLUB – This Move & Groove Kids Club is about using music and fun to teach kids aged 3 & 4 years old fundamental skills to assist with healthy growth and development.
We will dance and play games that will teach kids balance, posture, movement, ball skills, basic numbering and letter skills, how to work well in groups and also how to interact with each other. At the end of the session we will do some stretching and short meditations to teach the kids how to relax and be still.
Parents are required to stay at the venue, or leave someone in charge of their child.
The club will run during term time with the possibility of classes in the school holidays if there is enough interest. Register now to book your spot.

PERSONAL COACHING

I am passionate about helping people to build muscle strength that will assist with correct posture, injury rehabilitation and prevention, balance and confidence so that you can have a good quality of life.  I have assisted people that have common shoulder, knee and back problems, with a few good exercises and stretches they have been able to get back to doing the jobs and activities that they love.

Being strong (not necessarily Arnold Schwarzenegger strong) and having good poise really can make the world of difference to how you feel about yourself.  I also like to work with movement that helps to burn fat, tone and lengthen muscles while also improving flexibility.  We can build the mind muscle too by practicing mindfulness & meditation.  Whatever you are wanting to work on I can write a programme that will suit your needs and coach you through the process.

Huge progress can be made in just two 30 minute sessions a week, this would be my suggested minimum.  Or you may want to do more, give me a call and we can set up a time to have a complimentary discussion about what would be best for you.

$20 for each 30 minutes
